Thank you for showing your support for the importance of Quality Daily Physical Education (QDPE) in the lives of all Canadian children and youth by registering to take part in PHE Canada's "PE Day on the Hill"

This will be an exciting event not only in our nation's capital, but also across the country as we try to get as many students as possible participating in this event by holding their own Physical Education Day.  This is an excellent opportunity for your school to engage your local goverrnment and media by inviting them to the event at your school.

Get creative!

  • Hold your own PE Day at your provincial assembly.
  • Invite local athletes, entertainers or dignitaries to attend and participate!
  • Have them present your school with it's Recognition Award Program (RAP) banner.
  • Have the media participate in your class!
  • Download our Media Advisory template to help you engage the media.

Whatever you decide to do, make sure to take pictures and send them to us so that we can share your celebration with other schools across Canada. Let's make this a national celebration!

Attention to all Secondary Schools

Consider using "PE Day on the Hill" as a means of blowing off steam

or building school spirit pre or post exams!

We prefer that schools participate in the excitement on June 4, 2009

when schools across Canada are participating in the same events

on the same day, but understand this is not always viable.

We ask that you plan your event as close to the date as possible.
