National PE award proves a good fit at Summit middle school
September 30 2009 - With their middle school sunk into the side of a steep hill and the occasional bear to run away from, it's no wonder Summit students are so fit. For the second consecutive year, Physical and Health Education Canada gave its National Platinum award to the Coquitlam school.

St. Mary's phys. ed. program gets high marks from PHE Canada
May 14 2009 - For the fourth time, St. Mary's Secondary School has been nationally recognized for its quality physical education program. St. Mary's was one of 50 schools out of more than 15,000 across the country that received the honour this year from Physical and Health Education Canada. The Cobourg school was awarded secondary recognition for providing students with compulsory Quality Physical Education courses that are exceptional and enhanced by leadership opportunities and intramural activities.

October 16 2008 - A bright and colourful banner will decorate the Harold Short Evans gymnasium at Donald Fraser Memorial School in Plaster Rock.
