MaryJayne.info is launched!

MaryJayne.info was created by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport in partnership with Health Canada, Canadian Interuniversity Sport, Canadian Colleges Athletic Association, Football Canada, Canada Games Council, Canadian Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The website is designed to answer questions of student athletes on anti-doping testing procedures and the consequences of marijuana use.

This website is divided into sections that educate student athletes about the rules of doping infractions, the consequences of such infractions, and current statistics on the subject. This website also connects student athletes to other athletes and coaches through videos testimonials. Individual athletes and coaches provide insight into their personal perspective on doping in sport. This interactive website includes several downloadable videos and tool kits that are designed to reach students and inform them about the risks and consequences of marijuana as it relates to their sport involvement and performance.

Have a look. Have a say. Decide your future.
