C.R. Blackie Blackstock 1964-1974

Past Executive Director

Charter member, Bulletin Editor from 1937-1950. He was the first Executive Secretary of CAHPERD, and attended every conference from 1933-1977. He was said of to be the “Backbone of CAHPERD” and was the first Executive Director of CAHPERD from 1964-1974. Received the R. Tait McKenzie Award of Honour in 1948.

This book is dedicated as a memorial tribute to C.R. "Blackie" Blackstock who passed away April 9, 1979. Blackie was CAHPER's first ED and long time admirer of R Tait Mckenzie. It was a long time dream of Blackie's to see a collection of R Tait McKenzie Memorial Addresses brought together in one publication. This book is in answer to Blackie's dream.
